Be a VIAMTV Presenter or one of our reporters
If your school is taking part in VIAM2019, we need budding journalists to send us a video report each month featuring your school choir rehearsing for the event. Your report will feature in our weekly VIAMTV broadcast. Make it interesting, interview some of the choir, show them rehearsing, maybe interview one of the teachers, follow them through to the day itself.
We also need two young presenters to record at our studio in Surrey, once a week, to host the show. Recordings will be approximately one to two hours a week; and will take place out of school hours.
If you are aged between 7 and 15 years; and are confident in front of a camera then we would like to hear from you. You don’t need to be a singer.
To apply as a reporter or presenter, ask your parents or a friend to record you reading the short link on the form. either send us the link to the video on the form, or send the form to apply and also email us the video file (make sure it is under 9mb) to firstname.lastname@example.org
Deliver the following short link to the camera. We are looking for a confident, vibrant and clearly spoken performance. Adlibs are ok…but keep the entire piece to 30 seconds or less.
Hi, and welcome to VIAMTV
I am ……….. and today we will be visiting Saint Something School in Oxford…We will also be talking to Neil Shrimpton, the Musical Director from VIAM….and later we have a very special guest performance in the studio. Performing live we have ‘unbelievably’ Ed Sheeran.
